Framed Florets friendship card

Hello!

I think I may be addicted to playing with the new Framed Florets stamps and dies! I’ve made a bright birthday card and a very busy Christmas card with this bundle recently so I thought I’d show you that it’s also fabulous for clean and subtle cards like this one…

I started with a So Saffron card base that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Basic White card to layer on top that measures 9 x 13 cm so you still see a big border of the card base.

I stamped the flower with memento black ink onto a scrap of Basic White card then coloured it with my Stampin’ Blends. I used So Saffron for the centres of the flowers and then coloured the petals with dark then light Flirty Flamingo and finally dark Petal Pink. For the leaves I used a blend of light Mint Macaron and dark Soft Sea Foam. The berries are dark Flirty Flamingo.

I then coloured around the outside of the stamped image with my Ivory Stampin’ Blend before I die cut it.

I stamped the sentiment on the white card layer, glued on the die cut image and then splattered some Ivory ink on with my Stampin’ Blend. I also added some larger splashes of Wink Of Stella…

I really like the mix of soft colours on this card and I hope you do too.
