I have used this week’s colours to create this card with the gorgeous Snow Crystal stamp set as the main focus…

I made a slimline card for a little change and the base is made with Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 21 cm, scored & folded at 10.5 cm.

I cut a layer of Tahitian Tide card to measure 10 x 20.5 cm then stamped it with the Snow Crystal stamp using Versamark ink. I added clear embossing powder then heat set it.

I added Night Of Navy ink over the stamped area with a blending brush then removed the excess ink from the snowflake with a dry cloth. The ink stays on the card but comes off the stamped image; this is known as the emboss resist technique.

I blended in some Shaded Spruce ink around the outside of the Night Of Navy ink and then some Tahitian Tide ink. I then diluted a little bit of White Craft ink refill with water on a clear block and splashed it over the inked up layer with a paintbrush.

I used my fine-tip glue pen to added some Sparkle & Shine sequins but also left some dots of glue to add bits of shine once dry. I also added some Night of Navy solid faceted gems.

My sentiment is from Christmas To Remember and is stamped with Shaded Spruce ink onto Basic White card that I trimmed to fit.

I love that despite all that ink you still get such a shine from the heat embossing…
