Happy Birthday to a Spider-Man fan!

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today’s card is just a bit of fun. My lovely little neighbour celebrated his 7th birthday last week and as he’s a massive Spider-Man fan I thought I’d have a wee go at making a themed birthday card for him and here’s the result…

I made my usual sized card base with Pacific Point card and cut a smaller piece of Real Red card to mount onto it.

I added lines to the Real Red card with a black Stampin’ Write marker. I started off by adding straight lines across the middle of the card, horizontally and vertically and then added in some diagonals too. I then just drew in some curved lines. Thank goodness webs are not perfectly symmetrical! Lol.

The 7 and the letters of his name are all from the Alphabest bundle and cut with the Best Label punch. The spiders are from Cottage Wreaths stamp set and was cut with the matching die from Country Wreaths.

The birthday sentiment is from Celebrate With Tags and was cut with a label die from the All That dies set.

I heat embossed them all to get a lovely shine! They were added to the card with dimensionals…

I then added a piece of Basic White card to the inside that I’d randomly stamped the spider from Cottage Wreaths along the edge…

I hear he loved it! Phew.
