Emboss Resist Thinking of You card

Hello everyone.

Today’s card is a very clean and simple Thinking of You card, featuring a gorgeous stamp from the Go To Greetings set…

The Go To Greeting stamp set has sentiments for Happy Birthday, Thinking Of You, Just A Note and Thank You in this beautiful script and in 2 other fonts, plus a little ‘Hello’ stamp so it covers lots of occasions and means that it has really become my ‘go to’ stamp set for greetings.

To keep the card clean I stamped the sentiment multiple times onto Basic White card with Versamark ink, added white embossing powder and heat set it. It gives a lovely soft look but to make sure at least one of the sentiments really stood out I added some Fresh Freesia ink over it with a blending brush. The embossed sentiment resists the ink and stands out from the background.

I die cut a little flower from the Cottage Flowers set from Fresh Freesia card and added it to my embossed layer.

To finish it off I added a bow with Fresh Freesia open weave ribbon and some opal rounds in the same colour…

I hope you like this soft and subtle card.
