Creative Colour Challenges 29 a clean and simple Easter card

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…

Please CLICK HERE to see the very pretty fun fold card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.

I decided to make another clean and simple card for my entry…

I used a tiny little flower die that could so easily be missed in the catalogue. It comes from the Layering Hugs die set and is somewhat overshadowed by the gorgeous big hugs die from that set.

I cut the flowers from both Soft Sea Foam and Mango Melody card and snipped the heads from the Mango Melody ones to glue them on top of the Soft Sea Foam ones. This gives them a little extra dimension too.

The measurements for my card are:

  • Basic White Thick card for the base = 29 x 10.5cm, scored & folded at 14.5 cm
  • Gray Granite card layer = 9.5 x 13.5 cm
  • 3 squares of Gray Granite card = 3.5 x 3.5 cm
  • 3 squares of Basic White card = 3 x 3 cm

You’ll also need some basic white card for the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips set. I stamped it with Gray Granite ink and snipped it into sections to add to my card.

We’d love you to join in with these weekly colour challenges. You don’t need a blog, you can simply upload a photograph of your creation to take part.
