Rainbow Hugs

Hello everyone.

I can’t believe that we’re nearly half way through June and I’ve not done a rainbow card for Pride month; until now…

I wanted the rainbow to be the main focus but just had to add in the hugs for the LGBTQ+ community.

I’ve used strips of card that are 1cm wide and at least 11 cm long in Poppy Parade, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point and Gorgeous Grape.

To assemble the card I cut a piece of Basic White card that measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I then embossed another piece of Basic White that measured 9.5 x 8 cm with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and cut this at an angle and added the top part to the plain white card. I then added my strips of coloured card and then the final embossed piece. I then just had to trim off the excess pieces.

I added this panel to my usual card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The HUGS was cut with a die from the Layering Hugs set with Basic Black card and added on top of the rainbow. Finally, I added some bling with rhinestones…

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed all the products I used below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store at any time.

When you shop with me, I’ll send you a handmade card and gift as a token of my appreciation. If your order is under £150 please use my current Host Code, so that I can add an extra gift to your customer thank you pack for the month. See the Host Code page in the main menu for more details.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
