Newsflash Birthday card – Sale-A-Bration sneak peek!

Hello everyone.

I thought I’d share another little sneak peek of a Sale-A-Bration freebie that will be available between 5 January and 28 February 2021. I’ve used the Approaching Perfection stamp set along with the Playing With Patterns designer series paper to create this birthday card…

The Approaching Perfection stamp set is full of great birthday sentiments! And we all need birthday cards don’t we?

I made my usual card base with Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm,

I cut one piece of the Playing With Patterns DSP to measure 10.5 x 14.5 cm and another piece measuring 6.2 x 15.2 cm, layered them together at a jaunty angle and trimmed off the excess. I added some of the Playing With Patterns ribbon to the DSP and tied it with a small knot, before adding it to the card base…

I then added one of the Square Vellum Doilies over the ribbon with some tear & tape. I stamped the sentiment with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and trimmed it to fit and backed it with a slightly larger piece of Crushed Curry card to match the yellow spots in the other paper on the card. I popped the sentiment on with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some of the blue gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack.

I also used stamps from the free set on the inside of my card…

You will be able to earn this stamp set for FREE with a qualifying order of £45 between 5 January and 28 February 2021.

If you’d like to know more about the Sale-A-Bration promotion then please just use the Contact Me form to get in touch. I’d love to help.

I’ve listed the current products I used for today’s card (which excludes the stamp set) and you can use any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.

Happy crafting,
