Beauty Abounds Friendship card

Hello everyone.

Whilst I’ve been preparing for Christmas and getting excited about the new Stampin’ Up! products that are coming our way from 5 January 2021, I have neglected a few stamp sets and Beauty Abounds is definitely one of them. To put this right I created this card…

I used some of the Neutral Collection colours for this card. My base is Smoky Slate card that measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm and I added a panel of Merry Merlot card that measures 9 x 13 cm. I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 8.5 x 12.5 cm ready for stamping.

All of the stamps I used are from Beauty Abounds.

I’ve got myself a brand new Smoky Slate ink pad but it’s a bit too juicy so the dark grey dots shouldn’t be quite so dark. I stamped off onto a piece of scrap paper and then stamped onto my card to get the lighter tones. I used Blushing Bride ink as a contrast.

The butterflies are stamped with Merry Merlot ink and I used that for the sentiment too. The sentiment was cut with one of the circles from the Stitched Shapes dies and added to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 3 rhinestones to complete the front of my card.

I also stamped the rest of the sentiment and more of the smaller dots inside the card…

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ve listed the products I used below. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.

Please remember that many of the products in the current August to December 2020 mini catalogue are now reduced in price and only available for a few more days. Click on the image below to check them out…

Happy crafting,
