Hugs From Shelli – my makes

Hello!

I was SO excited to get my hands on the first ever Paper Pumpkin box available in the UK! Unfortunately, this is a one-off and there are no immediate plans to have this as a monthly subscription box here as they do in America – boo hoo! Maybe if we shout loud enough they might change that sometime – fingers crossed.

Anyway, even the box is gorgeous, isn’t it?

I spent way too long just admiring it and the contents of this Hugs From Shelli kit before I could get on with making the cards, lol.

The box contains everything you need to create 12 cards (3 each of 4 designs) except for an acrylic block to mount the stamps. In my opinion, the photopolymer stamp set included in the box is worth the £20 on it’s own, as I love the sentiments and the fonts.

Here are the cards I made using the instructions provided in the box…

The printed envelopes included in the box perfectly match the cards, just as you would expect from a Stampin’ Up! product. They are absolutely stunning!

The kit comes with a mini ink pad in Early Espresso but I used the new 2019-2021 In Color Pretty Peacock for the Thank You Dear Friend card. I never was all that good at sticking to instructions! The velvet ribbon you see on 2 of the cards is also in that colour and I’m pretty confident that I’ll be using that a lot colour in the near future.

I’ve got lots of supplies left over for the remaining 8 cards but I will just mix them up a bit; rather than making more identical cards. Come back tomorrow to see what I create.

I’ve listed the products used below. You can click on the links to visit my friend Valeries’ online Stampin’ Up! shop if you’d like to purchase any.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
