Hello and welcome! Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop with the theme of Embossed Anniversary. This month’s theme was picked by the wonderfully talented Sally Shaw. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created for this theme. Please join me in hopping around the blogs by clicking on the Next button at the end of my blog.
My card features heat embossing as this is one of my all time favourite techniques; it’s so easy to do and looks amazing. I decided to use the Serene Garden stamp set for my card…
My card base is Whisper White Thick card which measured 29 x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.5cm to form a portrait tent fold card.
My Whisper White panel measured 14 x 10 cm and I used my Embossing Buddy to remove any static and fingerprints before stamping the large corner stamp from Serene Garden in Versamark in the bottom left and top right corners. I then added my Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder and heat set it. I love the shine you get…
I backed this panel with Silver Foil card stock and added it to my card base.
I then stamped Happy Anniversary from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set, again in Versamark ink onto Whisper White card and heat embossed in silver. I used one of the square Stitched Shapes framelits to cut this out as a diamond and again back it with Silver Foil.
The final touch was to add 3 clear Rhinestone jewels and then add this sentiment panel to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I like this clean and simple style of card and the silver embossing and foil mean that it would be perfect for a 25th wedding anniversary.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my project and are ready to visit my lovely friend Janice at Jazzle Dazzle Crafts to see what she has created for you, just click the button below…
