I’m continuing my series of blog posts using the fabulous Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin kit that is currently available to Stampin’ Up!’s UK customers, while stocks last.

Here’s today’s pretty card…

I wanted to emulate this card from the kit, but without using any of the supplies in the kit except the stamps…

I love the combination of Whisper White and Pool Party so that’s all I’ve used on this card. I started with a card base of Whisper White measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold.

I cut a piece of Pool Party card to measure 10 x 14 cm and then used the flower sprig stamp from the Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin kit with versamark ink and White Stampin’ Emboss powder; which was heat set. I added this layer to my card base.

I used the Delicate Ribbon punch on a piece of Whisper White card measuring 14 cm wide to create the ribbon border for my card.

I then stamped the sentiment and more flower sprigs in Pool Party ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with my Pretty Label punch. I cut another Pretty Label in Pool Party card, cut that in half lengthwise and added it to the back of the stamped one.

Before adding the label to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals I added some loops of Whisper White bakers twine.
