Wildflower Birthday tent shaped box – tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. I picked up some cute mini lip balms when I was on holiday in Florida in June. They’ve been sitting on my desk ever since, just waiting their turn for some pretty gift packaging. So, I created this Wildflower Birthday tent shaped box for one of them…

I love the Wildflower Birthday designer series paper, especially with all those lovely gold foil details and the many pieces of ephemera you can pop out of one of the sheets in the pack. Actually, you get 2 sheets of that design in the pack. The more the merrier in my book. They are so handy for adding lovely little details on packages like this one.

My sentiment is from the Charming Day stamp set and the die I used for it comes from the Sentimental Framing set.

The decorated DSP piece slides off to reveal the Peach Pie card box inside and of course the contents…

These are nice and easy to make but that Wildflower Birthday paper makes them so pretty!

MEASUREMENTS

To make the tent shaped box in today’s video you’ll need the following supplies:

• Pool Party card measuring 3″ x 9″
  • score on the short side at 1″
  • score on the long side at 3-1/4″, 4-1/4″, 7-1/2″ and 8-1/2″
• Wildflower Birthday designer series paper measuring 3″ x 5-1/2″
  • score on the short side at 3/4″
  • then fold around the box
• Basic White card to die cut the sentiment
• Ephemera from Wildflower Birthday DSP pack to decorate
• Embellishments

The finished box measures 3-1/4″ long x 1″ wide at the base x 2″ high to the apex
