Hello and thank you for reading this blog.
I bought a few Chocolate Oranges a few weeks back with the intention of doing something with them but hadn’t got around to it. In the meantime the lovely Gez from www.NigezzaCreates.co.uk made the perfect box for one. I’m sure you’ll agree that there’s no point in reinventing the box when a friend has already done all the hard work. Thanks Gez!

Here’s my version in a different colour and designer series paper…
Gez had the fabulous idea of adding a money envelope inside her version. And I discovered that you could pop a gift card down the side of the chocolate orange as there’s just enough room. However, mine is going into a raffle at craft fair I’m attending later today so won’t contain cash or a gift card, lol.
I used Real Red card (from the Regals collection) and some All Is Bright designer series paper (DSP) and as I didn’t add any ribbon to mine I made the DSP on the sides of the lid the same width as the panels on the sides of the box. Mine measure 1 inch by 2 & 5/8th inches.
The stamps I used were from the Half Full stamp set. Thanks again to Gez for reminding me about the Merry Christmas stamp in this set. I used Real Red ink on Very Vanilla card and cut it using my 2 inch circle punch. I used my Starburst punch on Real Red card to back my sentiment circle. I coloured the holly using Stampin’ Write markers Real Red and Garden Green (from the Regals Collection).
I love that everyone in the Stampin’ Up! family is happy to share their creations with everyone to inspire us all to do what we love! The golden rule is that if you copy someone else’s work that you give them full credit. So if you’ve liked this project please let Gez know too!
I’ve listed the products I’ve used in today’s project. You can click on any of them to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop, which is open 24 hours a day. Don’t forget that today you can get 10% discount on paper and embellishments. Please use this month’s Host Code so that I can share Host Rewards with you too.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
