Hello everyone.
Each Thursday I share an awesome project created by my friends Jill, Gez and Verity. Once a month we each create a new project on a theme and link our blogs so you can hop around and see them all.
Our theme for this month is Masculine so I’ve made a birthday card with some awesome designer series paper scraps.

I had some leftover pieces of the Celebrate Everything designer series paper from another project (that is scheduled to appear on my YouTube channel tomorrow) and I didn’t want them to go to waste so I chopped them up a bit more and created this card…
Normally when I make a masculine card I automatically reach for blues so this was a nice change to use Basic Black and Crushed Curry. My card base is Crushed Curry card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Basic Black card to measure 10 x 14 cm and added 3 strips of Celebrate Everything DSP that each measure 10 x 3 cm.
Before I added this to my card base I wound some black twine around it and secured the ends on the back…
My sentiment is from Very Best Occasions and I stamped with Crushed Curry ink then cut it with the small oval from the Double Oval punch. I punched the larger oval from another scrap of Celebrate Everything DSP. I glued both ovals together then added them to my card with dimensionals. I also added some rhinestones that I’d coloured with by black Stampin’ Blends.
Finally I decorated the inside with Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm, a piece of DSP measuring 1 x 10 cm and another sentiment from Very Best Occasions with the Double Oval punch…
