Monochrome Delightful Wishes card - The Project Share Blog Hop - March 2025

Hello and welcome to the March 2025 Project Share Project blog hop. Our fabulous little group of independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators share each others projects every Thursday and also create a new project for a monthly Blog Hop. Our theme this month is Monochromatic. So I’ve created this monochrome Delightful Wishes card…

ABOUT MY CARD

Unfortunately my photos don’t really do it justice, but everything is Peach Pie and Basic White. The colour is much nicer is real life, lol.

The card base is Peach Pie measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5cm. Then I added a layer of Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm. The paper is from the gorgeous Unbounded Beauty DSP pack and measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I embossed a piece of Peach Pie card measuring 9.5 x 4.5 cm with the Soft Waves 3D embossing folder and backed that with a piece of Basic White card measuring 9.5 x 5 cm. The Basic White layer on the inside of the card measures 10 x 14 cm.

The flowers on the card were created with 2 dies from Delightful Wishes. I partially masked the sentiment from the Delightful Wishes stamp set so it just says Happy Birthday, instead of the full ‘You A Happy Birthday’

Finally I thought it looked a bit too plain so cut some leaves with one of the Delightful Wishes dies and added them to the top and bottom panels….

I love the combination of the embossed piece and those pretty die cut flowers and I hope you do too.
