Wildflower Birthday desktop calendar - tutorial

Hello! I hope you are well. As a reward for eventually finishing my Christmas gift wrapping, I allowed myself to play with some beautiful paper that will be available from 7 January 2025. Here’s my Wildflower Birthday desktop calendar…

This specialty designer series paper has lots of beautiful designs that i show you in today’s video. But it also includes 2 pages of pop out ephemera like the flower and leaves I used to decorate my desktop calendar

This calendar design starts off as just a normal card base but to give it more stability I added a folding section for the base…

SUPPLIES

To make the easy desktop calendar in today’s video I used the following supplies…

a Basic White Thick card base that you’d usually make with a half sheet of card, folded in half (mine measured 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm)
a coordinating card layer (mine measures 10 x 14 cm)
a layer of designer series paper (mine measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm)
a calendar tab
Coordinating card to mat the calendar tab ( mine was approx 7.8 x 5.4 cm
Basic White card for the inside piece
- 10 x 10cm scored on one side at 1.5 cm, 5 cm & 8.5 cm
- OR 4″ x 4″ scored on one side at 3/4″, 2″ and 3-1/4″
Ephemera to decorate
Embellishments
Ribbon
