Winter Meadow 3 in 1 gift box – tutorial

I promised in yesterday’s post that I would share a full tutorial for this fun festive project. So I’ve recorded a video. I think this might be the longest video I’ve ever recorded! But I hope you’ll check it out anyway. You can always fast forward, lol!

I still used the gorgeous Winter Meadow designer series paper but this time I chose a different design from the pack and used Moody Mauve card for the construction.

Here’s the Winter Meadow 3 in 1 gift box I made in my video, along with the original one…

Because I played around with the order of the boxes, I only have a small white panel at the left of this version…

If you are ready to make this project then here’s what you’ll need…

MEASUREMENTS

There are way more measurements than I normally give for a box so I’ll split them up into their components for you.

BOX 1 (measures 3″ x 3″ x 2″ when complete)

• Moody Mauve card measuring 10-1/2″ x 8″
  • score the long side at 2″, 5″, 7″ and 10″
  • score the short side at 1/2″, 2-1/2″, 5-1/2″ and 7-1/2″
  • partially score the short side again, as shown in the video, at 1-1/2″ and 6-1/2″

BOX 2 (measures 3″ x 2″ x 2″ when complete)

• Moody Mauve card measuring 8-1/2″ x 8″
  • score the long side at 2″, 4″, 6″ and 8″
  • score the short side at 1/2″, 2-1/2″, 5-1/2″ and 7-1/2″
  • partially score the short side again, as shown in the video, at 1-1/2″ and 6-1/2″

BOX 3 (measures 3″ x 2″ x 1″ when complete)

• Moody Mauve card measuring 6-1/2″ x 7″
  • score the long side at 2″ and 5″
  • score the short side at 2″, 3″, 5″ and 6″
  • partially score theLONG side again, as shown in the video, at 1″ and 6″

FRONT PANEL

• Moody Mauve card measuring 4″ x 3″
• Winter Meadow DSP measuring 3-3/4″ x 2-3/4″

TOP PANEL

• Moody Mauve card measuring 3″ x 3″
• Winter Meadow DSP measuring 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″

DECORATIONS

• For the outside of the combined boxes
  • 2 pieces of Winter Meadow DSP = 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ for the sides, each scored on the long side at 1-7/8″
  • 1 piece of Winter Meadow DSP = 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ cut on the long side at 1-7/8″ and then cut on the short side at 1-7/8″ for the 3 sections of the back panel
  • 1″ strip of Basic White card for your sentiment
  • Die cut foliage using Magical Meadow dies and scraps of Basic White and Pretty Peacock card
• For the inside of the combined boxes
  • 1 piece of Winter Meadow DSP measuring 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
  • 1 piece of Winter Meadow DSP measuring 2-3/4″ x 3/4″
  • 3 pieces of Winter Meadow DSP measuring 2-3/4″ x 1-3/4″
  • 2 pieces of Basic White card for stamping measuring 2-3/4″ x 1-3/4″ (IF YOU ARRANGE THE BOXES IN THE ORDER I USED IN THE VIDEO THE SECOND PIECE OF WHITE CARD ONLY NEEDS TO BE 2-3/4″ x 1″)
• Sheer ribbon approx 25″
• Glitter sequins & Wink Of Stella
