A Walk In The Forest Christmas card

The wonderful A Walk In The Forest 12″ x 12″ designer series paper is great for all sorts of Christmas crafting and some of the striped patterns could be used all year round. But that’s not all, when you buy a pack of this paper Stampin’ Up! will donate £2.50 from the sale to organisations dedicated to spreading cheer and providing support to those in need. I didn’t need much more of an excuse to grab a pack and here’s my latest creation with it; my A Walk In The Forest Christmas card…

Some of the bears featured in the paper designs can be cut out with the Beary Cute punch. In addition, some of the trees in the paper can be cut with the Merriest Tree dies. So, if you’re not a fan of fussy cutting you don’t need to!

I did use the punch for the bear on my card but as I don’t actually own the dies (yet!) I did fussy cut 1 large one and 1 smaller one from the DSP.

My sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and comes from the Joy To You stamp set. Before adding my sentiment to my card with dimensionals, I adhered some sparkle ribbon to the back of it. My bear was also popped up with dimensionals…

To add even more sparkle, I added one of each colour from the Faceted Gems Trio pack.

Here are the supplies you’ll need to make today’s card

Basic White Thick card base measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm
A Walk In The Forest DSP measuring 10 x 14 cm
A bear punched (or fussy cut) from the DSP
2 trees die cut (or fussy cut) from the DSP
Basic White card for the sentiment measuring approx 5.5 x 2.7 cm
