Hello, I hope you are well. I picked up a few small embroidery hoops with ribbons in a craft store recently. They were marketed as Christmas decorations so I had to have a little think about how I could use my Stampin’ Up! goodies to decorate them. The result was this Beary Cute Christmas decoration…
I did think about using the Beary Christmas DSP for the background but opted for the Bright & Beautiful DSP instead. I then stamped the 2 polar bears, the gift package and the sentiment and fussy cut them to add them to my decoration. Well, to be honest, my Scan ‘N Cut did the fussy cutting! lol
I added a little bit of colour to the polar bears with my Petal Pink Light Stampin’ Blend and a Color Lifter…
So that I could show you how quick and easy these are to make, I’ve recorded a video of me making a second one.
I’d love you to click on the image above or if you prefer you can click here to pop over to YouTube. If you enjoy watching my video, I’d love you to give it a thumbs up and leave me a comment too. If you haven’t already subscribed to my channel, make sure you do so when you’re there; so you don’t miss out on future videos.
Here’s the Beary Cute Christmas decoration I made in the video, along with the original one…
How adorable are these polar bears celebrating Christmas nose to nose?
To make the decoration in the video you’ll need the following supplies:
- A 3″ emboidery hoop (not available from Stampin’ Up!)
- Bright & Beautiful DSP – at least 4″ x 4″ to make it easier to work with
- Basic White card scraps to stamp the 2 bears, the gift and the sentiment
- Beary Cute stamp set
- Pebbled Path and Real Red inks
- Stampin’ Blends
I hope you like today’s Beary Cute Christmas decoration and will give it a go.
