Nature’s Prints Thinking of You card – Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hop

Today I’m taking part in the Stampin’ Dreams blog hop for October 2023. The theme this month is Thoughts & Prayers. I have used one of my all time favourite stamp sets for this Nature’s Prints thinking of you card…

It’s been a while since I played with the Nature’s Prints stamp set and Natural Prints dies and I thought that the ‘You’re On My Mind’ stamp was perfect for the theme of this blog hop. I hope you agree.

When this bundle first appeared in a catalogue it also came with gorgeous designer series paper that has since retired. Starry Sky featured heavily in that DSP pack so that inspired me to use the card and ink for today’s card. I stamped directly onto my card base with an assortment of the stamps from the set.

The sentiment was cut with a circle from the Stylish Shapes dies and I cut a larger one from Starry Sky card to back it.

The wreath die from Natural Prints was used to cut the Basic White card piece, but I did trim part of it off.

My piece of Starry Sky card was embossed with the Fern 3D embossing folder for some extra texture…

The final touch was to add some of the Starry Sky pearls. I hope you like this card and will perhaps try it out too.

MEASUREMENTS

To make this card you’ll need the following supplies:

• Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to form the base
• Starry Sky card layer measuring 10 x 9 cm
• Basic White card to die cut the wreath (approx 11 x 11 cm)
• Basic White card for the sentiment circle (approx 6 x 6 cm)
• Starry Sky card to die cut the circle to back the sentiment one (approx 7 x 7 cm)
