I love the muted tones of this combination and thought they’d be a great fit with Nature’s Prints stamps and dies…
My card base is Very Vanilla Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added an Early Espresso layer that measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm and cut a piece of Very Vanilla that measures 9 x 13 cm.
I thought about embossing the top Very Vanilla piece but instead I added some Crumb Cake ink with a blending brush through one of the Artistic Mix decorative masks. I stamped the sentiment from Nature’s Prints in the top corner with Early Espresso ink. I also stamped the foliage with Crushed Curry and Crumb Cake inks onto scraps of Very Vanilla card and die cut them ready to assemble on my card.
First of all I splashed some Crumb Cake ink onto the top layer, then I added some vanilla and brown twine in loops, secured with tear and tape, and finally added the die cuts on top…
The final touch was to add some sparkle gems. I love the texture of these gems along with the twine and I hope you do too.
I hope you like what I created with this week’s colours. Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
