When I chop up sheets of designer series paper to use for cards, boxes, bags and tags I tend to keep all but the tiniest scraps of leftover paper and love finding ways to make the most of them. I’ve used up a few pieces on today’s card…
My card base is Misty Moonlight card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm to create a tent fold. I then cut a piece of Basic White card to measure 10 x 14 cm. My pieces of DSP measure 6 x 10 cm, 3 x 10 cm and 3 x 9.5 cm. I covered up the joins between the vertical and horizontal pieces with a piece of Boho Blue ribbon and secured the ends on the back.
I stamped the Thank You from Irresistible Blooms with Misty Moonlight ink onto Basic White card then cut it with a 2″ circle punch. It looked a bit bare so I filled in some of the white space with the smaller flower from Irresistible Blooms and Balmy Blue ink. I backed this with a piece of Night Of Navy card cut with the 2-3/8″ circle punch then added them to the card with dimensionals.
I then added a few Pastel Adhesive Sequins.
I also added a piece of Basic White card measuring 10 x 14 cm with another little scrap of DSP to the inside of the card…
