#simplestamping with Forever Fern

Hello, I hope you are well.

Spring seems to be taking its sweet time in giving us lots of lovely greenery so I’ve stamped my own on today’s card…

I reached for an old favourite stamp set called Forever Fern along with a variety of green ink pads you see in the photo above. I’ve got a Thick Basic White card base and then cut a smaller layer of Basic White card to stamp on.

There are so many lovely leaves in the Forever Fern stamp set so I just picked 4 of them and allocated them an ink pad each. To fill in the blank spaces I used the ‘splatter’ stamp from the set with Soft Sea Foam ink…

Once I was happy with my stamping I added some Soft Succulent open weave ribbon around it before adding it to my card base.

I stamped the HELLO sentiment with Evening Evergreen ink and again stamped the background splatters with Soft Sea Foam. I cut this with the small part of the Double Oval punch and used the larger part with Evening Evergreen card. I glued the 2 ovals and added them over the ribbon with dimensionals.

The final touch for the front was some Mossy Meadow gems from the Solid Faceted Gems pack. I then added a tiny bit of stamping to the inside too…

This really is #simplestamping as you just can’t go wrong! It’s your design and your creativity so just get stamping!!

I do hope you like today’s card and will give it a try too.
