#PootlersRock – the swaps I received at our Pootlers Team Retreat (Spring 2023)

Hello!

I really did have the most awesome time with my Pootlers teammates at the weekend; at our Spring 2023 craft retreat. Many of us arrived at the hotel near Birmingham on the Friday evening and had a bite to eat and lots of lovely chat before heading to bed like excited kids on Christmas Eve, lol!

This was my first team retreat for quite a few years, so it was absolutely amazing to see so many of my teammates on the Saturday morning and to get so many hugs!! Although we keep in touch on social media, nothing beats being in the same room with so many likeminded people.

We talked, crafted, ate lots of lovely food and eventually got around to swapping projects that we’d made for the event. This is a lovely tradition where you take a heap of the swaps you’ve made (my Beautiful Thistle bookmarks) and exchange them for a massive variety of papercrafted goodies made by the others in the team.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing all of these awesome projects as much as I enjoyed receiving them. I’m still working my way through all those sweeties and chocolates!!
