Creative Colour Challenges 75 – Petal Park birthday card

Hello, I hope you are well.

These are the colours for the latest challenge over at http://www.creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com

Please CLICK HERE to find out more about this challenge and to join in the fun with this week’s 3 colours.

I mentioned last week that I often start these colour challenges by looking at my packs of designer series paper. This week I didn’t have to look far as I already had the By The Bay paper pack on my desk and I knew that it included this superb shiny Sahara Sand design…

Isn’t it gorgeous?

I stamped the 3 flowers outline stamp from Petal Park with Cherry Cobbler ink onto Basic White card. I then stamped the infill stamp with So Saffron ink. I did this quite a few times and then cut them all out with the Petal Park Builder punch. I love that it cuts 3 flowers and a leaf (if you want) at a time.

My sentiment is from Framed Florets and again I stamped it with Cherry Cobbler ink on white card. I cut this out with one of the Stylish Shapes circle dies.

I didn’t have any coordinating ribbon but created some by colouring the metallic edge cotton ribbon with my So Saffron dark Stampin’ Blend. I glued my DSP to a layer of Cherry Cobbler card then added my coloured ribbon, tied with a knot.

My sentiment and some of the pretty Petal Park flowers have been popped up with dimensionals. I had a little flower left over so I simply added it to the inside…

My final touch was to add Cherry Cobbler gems from Festive Pearls to the centre of the 3 smallest flowers on the front.

Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
