Feel Better Real Soon – Cottage Rose & Deckled Rectangles

Hello!

I hope you are feeling well today. If you know someone that isn’t then maybe you could make and send them this card…

I’ve used the beautiful Cottage Rose stamp set with the Deckled Rectangles dies.

My card base is Old Olive card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5cm. I then die cut the 2 largest Deckled Rectangles from Very Vanilla card and Kraft paper.

I stamped the gorgeous large image from Cottage Rose with Early Espresso ink onto the Kraft rectangle. Once I knew it was completely dry, I used some Watercolor Pencils to lightly add some colour to the stamped image and then smoothed it out with a Blender Pen. Go gently with the blender pen as the ink isn’t waterproof and may smudge otherwise.

The sentiment is also from Cottage Rose and I stamped it with Early Espresso ink and cut it with the smallest Deckled Rectangles die. I stapled a little bit of Burlap ribbon to it and popped it up with dimensionals. My final touch was to add some vanilla Classic Matte dots…
