Creative Colour Challenges 58 – Cottage Rose get well card

Hello, I hope you are well.

These are the colours for the latest challenge over at http://www.creativecolourchallenges.blogspot.com

Please CLICK HERE to see Victoria’s really pretty card with these colours and you can join in the fun here too!

These 3 colours are lovely and soft so I thought they’d look great with the Cottage Rose stamp set and Cottage Flowers dies, along with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder…

I stamped the large flower with Soft Succulent ink and used blending brushes to add the Blushing Bride and Soft Sea Foam inks…

I die cut the flower and stamped the sentiment, from Cottage Rose, with Soft Succulent ink and cut it with the Double Oval punch. I cut the larger oval from Soft Sea Foam card.

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5cm, scored & folded on the long side at 14.5 cm. I cut a layer of Soft Succulent card measuring 10 x14 cm and a piece of Basic White card measuring 9.5 x 13.5 cm. I embossed the white layer, glued it to the Soft Succulent piece and added some Soft Succulent ribbon before adding the layers to my card base.

I added the flower and the sentiment over the ribbon with dimensionals and my final touch was a few pearls…

Why don’t you see what you can make with these colours and join in the fun?
