Today’s card was inspired by a button picture I made many years ago. I can’t find a photo of it but essentially I layered up brightly coloured buttons to look like flowers and used green yarn for their stems. So I’ve done something similar for this long slimline card using the 2022-2024 In Colors and Stylish Shapes dies…
I cut the stitched circles from Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide card and from the 2022-2024 In Colors designer series paper pack. The stems and leaves are Parakeet Party card.
I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set with Starry Sky ink onto Basic White card then cut it with a banner die from Stylish Shapes and backed it with a bigger banner cut from the Starry Sky DSP and popped them onto the card with dimensionals.
The final touch for this fun card was to add in some of the In Color dots to the flowers…
The measurements for this card are:
- Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 21 cm, scored & folded at 10.5cm
- Tahitian Tide card measuring 20.5 x 10 cm
- Basic White card measuring 20 x 9.5 cm
This will fit into a DL sized envelope or our Slimline envelopes shown in the Product List below.
