Creative Colour Challenges 34 – a sneak peek at Sending Smiles

Hello, I hope you are well.

Today I want to share the latest Creative Colour Challenge from Vickie Lou Designs with you, and of course my entry. Here are this week’s 3 colours…

Please CLICK HERE to see the adorable card that Victoria has created with these colours and hopefully you will join in the fun too.

I decided to use a brand new bundle that launches on 3 May 2022 for this clean and simple card…

The Sending Smiles stamp set has lots of lovely flowers, leaves and sentiments, making it a perfect all round set. The Sending dies coordinate perfectly with the stamps, just as you’d expect from Stampin’ Up!

My card base is Basic White Thick card and then I’ve added a layer of Cajun Craze and then another layer of Basic White. I stamped the ‘sending’ with Blushing Bride and the ‘comfort & strength’ with Cajun Craze.

I stamped the flower with Blushing Bride for the petals and Cajun Craze for the centre and cut it with one of the Sending dies. The stem and leaves was stamped with Granny Apple green and also die cut. I added some Wink Of Stella to the flower and popped it up with dimensionals…

I hope you like this clean and simple card.

We’d love you to join in with these weekly colour challenges. You don’t need a blog, you can simply upload a photograph of your creation to take part.
