Simple Christmas card with Peaceful Place designer series paper

Hello.

As it’s getting closer to when we need to be thinking about getting our Christmas cards ready to write and send I’m now looking for quick and easy cards. The Peaceful Place designer series paper has designs with lots of foil but also has some designs with beautiful scenes like the one I chose to be the star of this card…

This card couldn’t be any easier!

My card base is Basic Gray card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. My designer series paper panel is 8.5 x 10 cm and is backed with a piece of Basic Black card measuring 9 x 10.5 cm.

I stamped my sentiment from Christmas To Remember straight onto my card base with white ink. Please remember that this craft ink takes a little while longer to dry, so it’s a bit easier to smudge it – ask me how I know, lol.

I added a panel of Basic White card to in the inside and added a little strip of another DSP from the pack along the bottom edge. I always keep little strips of my papers to use this way, it’s a little extra touch and a great way to use scraps at the same time….

To add a little bit extra to the card I added Wink Of Stella to the snow on the cabin roofs and little dabs to the trees, this is SO hard to photograph but hopefully you can see the effect…
