Clean & Simple Thinking Of You card, with Pierced Blooms dies

Hello everyone.

I love colour but every now and again I have the urge to make a clean and simple card, with lots of white. Today’s card is an example of this style…

The only colour I’ve used is Gray Granite; for a card layer and to stamp the sentiment.

Although at first sight this card is very plain, there are actually a quite a few little details when you look closer…

I was reminded of the technique of adding scored lines to your card by Gez of http://www.nigezza.co.uk recently and thought it would make a nice detail on a predominately white card. I used my Simply Scored tool to add 10 vertical score lines for this card.

There’s lots of lovely pierced details on the die cuts I added with the Pierced Blooms die set.

And finally those Elegantly Faceted Gems really do add a bit of sparkle without too much bling as they are clear. You also get Petal Pink and Pearlescent White in the same pack, so its a versatile pack to have in your stash.

My sentiment is from the Beauty Of Friendship stamp set that has lots of lovely sentiments as well as the fabulous tree images.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card. I’ll be back with some colour tomorrow!
