Simply Elegant True Love Stories…

Hello I hope you are well.

Today’s card would be perfect for a Golden Wedding anniversary…

There’s a whole lot of gold going on as I hope you can see better in this photo…

I made my usual card base (21 x 14.5 cm, scored & folded on the long side at 10.5 cm) then added a piece of the white & gold paper from the Elegantly Said designer series paper pack that measures 14.5 x 8.5cm. I also added 2 strips of gold metallic paper that each measure 14.5 x 0.5 cm.

I stamped my sentiment from the Elegantly Said stamp set with Versamark ink, added gold embossing powder and heat set it. I then cut it with a Tasteful Labels die. I used a larger die from the set to cut more of that gorgeous gold metallic paper. I love the texture of this, don’t you?

I added some loops of the gold Simply Elegant trim and resisted the temptation to add any more bling! My sentiment labels were popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the loops of trim.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this card and will be tempted to try it out.
