InspireInk August 2021 Blog hop - Keep It Simple

Hello everyone.

Today I’m taking part in the InspireInk blog hop for August 2021 with my talented team mates. This month our theme is to keep it simple! I’ve decided to keep it very simple by only using stamps, paper and ink with my card stock.

I’ve used the Peaceful Place designer series paper pack to make these cards…

For the first 2 cards I chose designs from the paper pack that work perfectly to chop into 4 pieces of 6″ x 6″. I trimmed the pieces I used down to 5-7/8″ square and added them to some 12″ x 12″ Basic White card that I chopped in half then folded in half to give me card bases that measure 6″ x 6″

I stamped sentiments from the Christmas To Remember stamp set straight onto the paper with Basic Gray ink.

For the 3rd card I thought this design from the paper pack would work better as a slimline card…

I chopped this 12″ x 12″ sheet down to 20.5 cm tall and then split it into 3 pieces that are 10cm wide. I then added them to Basic Black card measuring 21 x 21 cm, score & folded at 10.5 cm. This fits into a DL sized envelope. As this design was too dark to stamp straight onto I stamped onto a scrap of Basic White card, trimmed it to fit and backed it with Basic Black card. Easy!
