Hello, I hope you are well.
For today’s card I’ve combined an old favourite stamp set and punch with a new firm favourite set of dies. I used the Timeless Tulips stamp set and punch, along with the Scalloped Contours dies to create this bright birthday card…
My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I used the largest Scalloped Contours die to cut a piece of the Poppy Parade paper from the Brights Collection designer series paper pack. I added crinkled seam binding ribbon through the loops on this piece and tied it in a bow and then added it to my card base at an angle.
I stamped the largest tulip and leaf with Poppy Parade and Granny Apple Green ink onto Basic White card and used the Tulip Builder punch to cut them out.
I then stamped the 2 smaller tulips, stems and leaves directly onto another piece of Basic White card that I cut with the second largest Scalloped Contours die. I also stamped the sentiment directly onto this piece and added the punched flower and leaf with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added this piece on top of the DSP die cut layer, tucking it under the ribbon.
I like the bright combination of colours on this card along with the details on those fabulous Scalloped Contours die cuts. I hope you do too.
