Monotone slimline card featuring Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour

Hello everyone, I hope you are well.

Today’s card is a lovely slimline sized to fit into DL envelope. I’ve only made a few cards of this size but it really does make a nice wee change every now and again. I’ve used the Color & Contour stamp set and only black and white with a very #simplestamping design…

I absolutely love this line drawing style floral stamp and really had to resist the temptation to colour it, either with the infill stamp from the set or with Stampin’ Blends, watercolour pencils etc. But I managed, lol.

My card base is Basic White Thick card measuring 21 x 21 cm, scored and folded at 10.5 cm. I added a Basic Black layer that measures 8.5 x 19 cm.

My stamped layer measures 8 x 18.5 cm and I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to stamp the two flower stems.

I also stamped my sentiment onto a piece of Basic White card that measures 2.5 x 8 cm and backed it with a piece of Basic Black card measuring 3 x 8 cm before adding it to the centre of the card, covering up where the stamped stems meet up.

I used my Basic Black Dark Stampin’ Blend marker to colour 6 basic rhinestones and added them to the card in clusters of 3.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s simple monochrome card. I’ve listed the products I used for this card below. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time.
