Lots of layers with Stampin’ Up! Color & Contour bundle

Hello everyone.

I created today’s card to show off the amazing Color & Contour stamp set but more so the awesome Scalloped Contours dies…

I love that each of the 5 rectangle dies in the set have a slightly different detail on the edge and that they all work beautifully together.

I’ve used Very Vanilla and Night of Navy card with these dies and the great thing is that you don’t need to use lots of card as you can cut the smaller ones from the middle of the larger one and nobody will know!

I didn’t have any Very Vanilla or Night of Navy ribbon but I really wanted to make use of those loops on the largest rectangle die so I coloured some crinkled seam binding ribbon with my Night of Navy Stampin’ Blend marker instead.

I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Very Vanilla card that measures 2″ x 3/4″ and added that on top of the smallest rectangle and added them over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I did also stamp a further sentiment inside the card that reads ‘and in better days ahead’ but I forgot to take a photograph of that – oops!

I stamped the outline of the flower and cut it with another die from the bundle and added that with Stampin’ Dimensionals too. I added some Basic Pearls to the centre of the flower for a little extra detail.

I really like Very Vanilla and Night of Navy together; it’s a classy combination, don’t you think?

I’ve listed the products I used for today’s card below. The stamp set and dies I used can be purchased separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10% so I’ve shown both options in my product list below.
