Clean & Simple birthday card with Stampin’ Up! Sand & Sea

Hello everyone.

I love the whole Stampin’ Up! Sand & Sea suite of products from the January to June 2021 mini catalogue. The fact that you get stamps, dies, an embossing folder, beautiful designer series paper and embellishments that all perfectly compliment each other is awesome in my book! In fact the amazing product and colour coordination is what attracted me to Stampin’ Up! in the first place.

So, the temptation is to use it all – all of the time! And my last project with these products did exactly that. So this time, I wanted to scale it back a bit and create a more clean and simple card. Here’s the result…

I made my usual tent fold card base and added a layer of the designer series paper (DSP) that measures 10 x 14 cm on top. This DSP pack will be retiring on 30 June 2021 so I’m determined to showcase it as much as possible before then!

I cut another design from the DSP pack to measure 6 x 6 cm and backed this with Basic White card measure 6.5 x 6.5 cm and added this to my card. I stamped the sentiment straight onto the blue paper with Sahara Sand ink.

I stamped the starfish with Blushing Bride ink onto Basic White card and cut them with the coordinating die – but you could easily fussy cut these if you don’t have the dies. One was glued to the DSP and the second one was popped up with two Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it plenty of height.

Every card needs some bling so I added shimmer to the starfish with my Wink Of Stella pen and added 3 of the gorgeous Opal Rounds too.

I’m delighted that the Friends Are Like Seashells bundle made it into the Annual catalogue so will be with us until 2 May 2022, along with the embossing folder and opal rounds. However, time is now running out to get the DSP and stickers from the suite as they will retire next month.

I’ve listed all of the products I’ve used for today’s card below. The stamps and dies I used can be purchased separately but if you buy them as a bundle you’ll save 10% – so I’ve shown both options below.

When you shop with me I’ll send you a handmade card and a little gift as a token of my appreciation. If your order is under £150 then please use my current Host Code so that I can send you an extra gift in my customer thank you pack for the month. See the Host Code page for more details.

If your order is anywhere near £99 then perhaps joining my team as an independent demonstrator might be your best bet. If you join before 31st May 2021 then you’ll get to choose up to £154 of products and only pay £99…

Please get in touch if you’d like to learn more about this great deal.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
