Color & Contour for a colour challenge

Hello everyone.

I made today’s card for a team colour challenge to use this combination…

I initially was tempted to give this challenge a miss as the colours didn’t really spark my creativity! But I guess that’s why we call it a challenge. After some musing I came up with this card using the Color & Contour stamp set…

My card base is Early Espresso and I used the same colour of ink to stamp the dots on the Crushed Curry card, the sentiment on the Crumb Cake piece and the flower outline on the Basic White card. I used Crushed Curry ink to stamp the flower infill.

I cut the flower piece with one of the Layering Circles dies and cut a larger scalloped one from Crushed Curry card to add to the back. I added the circles to my card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals…

I added some Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon under the sentiment and a panel of Basic White card to the inside. I stamped the bottom of the insert with Crushed Curry ink and the dots stamp from the set.

In the end I rather like this colour combination! Why don’t you see what you can create with these colours?

I’ve listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store.
