The Project Share Blog Hop – March 2021 – Masculine

Hello everyone.

It’s the first Saturday of the Month so it’s time to get together with my Stampin’ friends Verity of Inky Butterfly, Gez of Nigezza Creates and Jill of Paper Daisy Crafting for our Project Share Blog Hop. Our theme for March 2021 is Masculine. We’ve each made a brand new project to fit this month’s theme, so once you’ve seen mine please click on the next button below to hop over to see another fabulous project created by these talented ladies.

I have used the A Good Man and Birch background stamp sets to create this card and gift box…

It was so lovely to spend a little bit of time to colour in the image of this very chilled out chap in his deck chair! I’ve listed the Stampin’ Blends I used in my product list below. I also show you them in my video. I used the Hippo & Friends dies to cut out the coloured image and to mat it with Soft Suede card.

I also had to stamp on the inside of my card…

I didn’t want to stop at the card as I really liked the look of the Birch stamped with Soft Suede ink onto Basic White card. So I stamped more of the card to create my coordinating flip top box. This is sized to fit two 30ml bottles of Molton Brown body wash and you can find out how to make this in my video tutorial…

To make the box you will need

  • a piece of Basic White Thick card measuring 8″ x 8-1/2″
    • score on the long side at 1-1/2″, 4″, 5-1/2″ and 8″
    • score on the short side at 1-1/2″, 5″ and 6-1/2″
  • A piece of Soft Suede card measuring 1-1/4″ x 1-3/4″
  • Basic White card for stamping the sentiment

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these two projects today…

Now please click on the next button to see what other masculine themes projects my talented friends have in store for you…

This is such a cute versatile gift box, thanks for the tutorial Heather. The background stamp and those colours are a great solution for those hard to make masculine cards xx
