Hello everyone.
As I’ve finished making all of my Christmas cards I thought I should turn my attention to making some thank you note cards ready to send out after Christmas. I remembered that the Borders Abound stamp set has a thank you stamp with the most beautiful font so I pulled the set from my shelf and then was delighted to rediscover that it also has a gorgeous stamp with a flurry of snowflakes too. Perfect!
So I stamped some Whisper White note cards and envelopes with the set and Misty Moonlight ink…
These really are clean and simple and definitely #simplestamping You could easily add both stamps to your Stamparatus, ink them at the same time and just stamp. You’d have all the note cards you need in next to no time at all.
If this design is TOO simple then you could of course add a couple of layers and embellishments to step it up, without too much extra effort…
The Whisper White note cards measure 5″ x 3-1/2″ so I cut my Misty Moonlight layer to measure 4-7/8″ x 3-3/8″ and my Whisper White layer to 4-3/4″ x 3-1/4″
The stamping is the same for both cards and envelopes but I also added a few of the stunning Blue Adhesive Backed Gems to some sparkle…
I can’t believe that I forgot about this beautiful snowflake flurry stamp and I’m kicking myself as it would have been a great addition to my Christmas cards and gifts too. At least I got to use it for my thank you notes though.
