In Good Taste Zig Zag Birthday card

Hello.

After making my fancy fold for the Project Share Blog Hop on Saturday – click here if you missed it – I caught the bug and wanted to make a different style of card. I chose to make this zig zag birthday card with the In Good Taste designer series paper pack…

I’d already given myself a bit of a headache with the geometry of my last fancy fold so I actually used a tutorial from the lovely Heidi Smith for this one. You can check it out by clicking here

Here’s the inside of the card…

I used Early Espresso card for my base and Gray Granite for the middle panel. All of the stamps I used are from the fabulous Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink. I just love that great big birthday stamp, don’t you?

I think these bold birthday stamps work really well with the textural effect of the In Good Taste paper pack.

I’ve listed all of the products I used for this card below and you can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.

When you shop with me, please make sure that you use the current Host Code so that I can add in a little extra to your customer thank you pack for the month. Check out the Host Code page in the main menu for more info.

Happy crafting,

Heather x

This is such a great masculine card! Thanks for the link on how to cut this shape as it is one I struggle with.
