Hello everyone. I hope you are well.
I’m on a bit of a Christmas theme this week, with a mix of gifts and cards. Here’s my latest card that was inspired by a Christmas decoration…
I love those Christmas baubles that have a little scene inside so I decided to create my own version on a card!
I’ve used products from the Trimming The Town suite for this card. I started with a piece of Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm; scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm and then added the spotty piece of Trimming The Town designer series paper that measures 10.5 x 14.5 cm to cover the whole card front.
Next I cut a piece of Whisper White card that measure 8 x 12 cm and embossed it with the Winter Snow embossing folder from the suite.
I used the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes dies to cut a piece of that beautiful snowflake design paper from Trimming The Town and a piece of white felt. I used one of the wavy dies from the Home Together dies to cut the felt. I’ll use the other piece for another card.
I used the wavy die with the trees on it with Old Olive card and added this to the circle, with the snowy felt on top.
I stamped the car and smaller tree from the Coming Home stamp set and coloured them with Stampin’ Blends then die cut them and added them to the felt with Stampin’ Dimensionals….
The little card obviously has metallic paint, thanks to a generous layer of Wink of Stella!
The sentiment is simply cut from another piece of the Designer Series Paper pack.
To make it look more like a decoration I decided the top of the circle needed a little bit of gold foil and I used the middle piece from the Gift Bow builder punch for this. The finishing touch was a bow from the gold trim in the Wonder of the Season ribbon combo pack.
I hope you like this card. I’m really pleased with how it turned out.
I’ve listed all of the products used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop at any time. I’d love to be your independent demonstrator and if you have any questions at all, I’m here to help.
Happy crafting,
Heather x
