Snowflake Splendour aperture card

Hello everyone.

I have shared quite a few cards with you that I’ve created using the Snowflake Splendour suite of products but I recently realised that I hadn’t used the die in the So Many Snowflakes set that creates an aperture. So let me sort that out right now…

I used Night of Navy card for my base. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then added a layer of the gorgeous Snowflake Splendour designer series paper on top that measures 10 x 14 cm.

I cut a piece of Whisper White card to measure 9.5 x 13.5 cm and cut it with the die from So Many Snowflakes set. I then embossed this with the Winter Snow embossing folder. Before adding this to the card I stamped my sentiment from Itty Bitty Christmas with Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card that is 3/4″ wide.

I cut the end of my stamped strip of card with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I did the same with a 1″ wide strip of Night of Navy card and layered them together. I added this to my card so that the end is tucked under the die cut and embossed Whisper White layer.

To add a bit of bling I added some of the blue gems from the Holiday Rhinestones pack and a few of the pretty little adhesive backed snowflakes.

This is a card that has a whole lot of subtle detailing with the stitching around the aperture, the embossing and the twinkle of those adhesive snowflakes. I really hope you like the effect.

I’ve listed all of the products I used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop. Just let me know if you have any questions about today’s project or any Stampin’ Up! product. I’d love to help.

Happy crafting,
