Snowflake Wishes with Balmy Blue Glimmer paper

Hello!

Today’s project is this super sparkly Christmas card…

For all of the projects I’ve created with the superb Snowflake Splendour suite of products (and there have been a lot already!) I realised that I hadn’t used this gorgeous die that creates this snowflake aperture. I knew that I needed to put that right and that using the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper from the suite would be the perfect choice. Just look how sparkly it is…

And the best bit is that the glitter doesn’t shed! You won’t end up looking sparkly too, unless you want to. Lol

The card was easy to put together. My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I then cut a piece of Whisper White card measuring 10 x 14 cm and stamped the sentiment from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set in Balmy Blue ink near the bottom edge, before I embossed it with the Winter Snow embossing folder. My Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper measured 8 x 9.5 cm.

I cut another piece of Whisper White card to measure 7.5 x 9 cm and die cut it with that beautifully detailed snowflake from the So Many Snowflakes dies set. I added this panel to my card using a combination of both sizes of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The final touch was to add a blue gem to the centre of the snowflake for that little bit extra bling!

The stamp set and the dies I used are available to purchase individually but if you buy them as a bundle you automatically save 10% so I’ve listed both options in my product list below.

You can use any of the product links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! store at any time and I’d love to be your demonstrator.

Happy crafting,

Heather x
