Hello.
Today’s card was just SO quick and easy to put together! I’ve used products from the Playing With Patterns suite from the 2020 Annual Catalogue to create this fun birthday card…
The design I chose to use from the Playing With Patterns designer series paper pack has Crushed Curry and Night of Navy in it, so the obvious choice is to use Crushed Curry and Night of Navy card. I also used Crushed Curry ink for the Birthday stamp and coordinating resin dots from the same suite of products.
This is one of the THE best things about using Stampin’ Up! products; it takes all the guessing out of choosing elements for your projects as you know they’re going to match.
I used Whisper White Thick card for my card base. This measures 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm.
I cut my piece of designer series paper to measure 7.5 x 12.5 cm and backed it with a piece of Night of Navy card measuring 8 x 13 cm.
I used the Playful Alphabet dies to cut the letters for HAPPY from Crushed Curry card, added this to a piece of Night of Navy card and then more Crushed Curry card that I trimmed to fit.
The Birthday sentiment comes from the Family Party stamp set and I used Crushed Curry ink on Whisper White card, trimmed to fit and backed with Night of Navy card. I added this to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals…
Then I added those Crushed Curry resin dots as a finishing touch.
I love the colours and lines of this card, even although it gives me a feint recollection of my Grandad’s pyjamas! lol
I’ve listed the products I’ve used for today’s card below. You can click on any of the links to start your online Stampin’ Up! shopping with me.
