Today I’d like to show you how I created my card and you can watch along as I made a different version and envelope…

My card base was Whisper White Thick card measuring 10′ x 5″; scored and folded at 5″. My coloured card layer measures 4-5/8″ x 4-5/8″ and I cut my Fluid 100 paper down to measure 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″

The envelope was made with a piece of Snowflake Splendour designer series paper measuring 7″ x 11″. On the long side, score at 1/2″ and then 5-3/4″. The short side is also scored at 1/2″ and 5-3/4″. I show you how to cut and fold the paper to create the envelope in the above video.

Here’s the card I shared in the blog hop along with the one I made in the video…

I love that no 2 cards will ever be the same due to the random watercolour wash and splashes. The addition of Frost White Shimmer paint gives the background a celestial feel….

I loved making these cards and I hope you’ll give them a try too.

Making your own envelopes for unusual sized cards is so easy to do and makes the card even more special…

I’ve listed the products I used for these cards and envelopes below. You can click on any of the links to visit my online Stampin’ Up! shop.

Please remember to use the current Host Code if your order is under £150 so that I can add an extra treat to your customer thank you pack. Check out the Host Code page in the main menu for more information.

Happy crafting,
