Simply Citrus – rainy day card making!

Hello everyone.

I was away from my beloved craft room for over 2 weeks while on holiday in lovely Norfolk. I knew I would miss making cards, so I bought the Simply Citrus all inclusive card kit to take along with me and told my husband I would use it on a rainy day, lol.

We were actually very lucky with the weather but we did eventually get a bit of rain so the kit came out to play. I’ve never been happier to see rain!

The kit comes with all you need to make 15 bright and beautiful cards, including an instruction leaflet. I’m not great at following instructions but the first set of 5 cards I made were pretty close to the ones in the leaflet…

The next rainy day I got a bit more creative and mixed up the elements in the kit to make these cards…

The only extra product I took along with me was a Daffodil Delight mini ink pad that I had from a previous kit and I used this to add some extra stamped details.

I still have 5 card bases (with matching envelopes) left over along with lots of the embellishments, twine etc so watch this space to see what I do with them.

If you’d like to take a closer look at this kit and treat yourself to it, for a rainy day, then please click on the link below…

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing these cards as much as I enjoyed making them.

Happy crafting,
