In the Shaded Spruce Pines Christmas card

Hello.

Today’s card uses the In The Pines stamp set and Pine Woods dies from the August to December 2020 mini catalogue…

The stamp set has 3 single tree images of different sizes and 1 cluster of trees. All of the images have an infill stamp to match. I stamped the outlines with Shaded Spruce onto Whisper White card and stamped the infill with Soft Sea Foam. I really like this combination.

I then used the coordinating dies to cut them out. The die set also has 2 edge dies and the large tree die that I used in the centre of my main card front that cuts an aperture. I backed my aperture with Shaded Spruce card.

I cut 2 of the edge pieces and to help them stand out a bit I added some Frost White shimmer paint to the top edges. The first one is glued onto the card front and the second one is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals as were the front trees…

My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm. I added a layer of Soft Sea Foam card measuring 10 x 14 cm and then my decorated layer that measures 9.5 x 13.5 cm.

My sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set and I used Shaded Spruce ink onto Whisper White card that I cut with the Classic Label punch. I cut another label from Shaded Spruce card, cut it in half and used it to extend the ends of the stamped one. I added this to the card with dimensionals too.

I hope you like this clean and crisp card. I really like the dimension to it.
