Get Well Soon – bright and cheerful card

When you’re feeling unwell you need a bright and cheerful card to perk you up. Hopefully today’s card fits that criteria…

I reckon Magenta Madness is the perfect colour to brighten up anyone’s day!

I’ve used the new Envelopes dies to create the cut out sections of the card front. Envelope dies are not just for envelopes! Lol.

My card base is Whisper White Thick card measuring 21 x 14.5 cm, scored and folded on the long side at 10.5 cm to create a landscape tent fold. I added a piece of the beautiful floral paper from Flowers For Every Season DSP pack that measures 10 x 14cm.

I cut a piece of Magenta Madness card to measure 8 x 14 cm and then used the scalloped edge Envelope die to cut off the bottom section. I then used 2 of the other Envelope dies to create those sections where you can see the pretty paper showing through.

The sentiment comes from the Timeless Tulips stamp set and I used Magenta Madness ink on Whisper White card and cut it with a die from the Tasteful Label die set. I added this with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

A little bow with Magenta Madness ribbon and 3 large pearl gems finished off the front.

On the inside I stamped a little flower and leaf from Timeless Tulips with Bumblebee and Just Jade inks…

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s card.

Happy crafting,
