Hello, I hope you are well.
I shared some birthday cards with you a few days ago where I had used the biggest sentiment in the new Happiest Of Birthdays stamp set. Today’s card uses the belated birthday stamp from the same set, along with the Playing With Patterns designer series paper (DSP)…
In fact I’ve used 3 different designs from this paper pack because I couldn’t make up my mind, lol.
I started with a card base from Night of Navy card measuring 29 x 10.5 cm, scored and folded at 14.5 cm. I then added a piece of DSP that measures 10 x 14 cm.
I cut another piece of Night of Navy card to measure 6 x 6 cm and a piece of DSP to measure 5.5 x 5.5 cm, glued them together and then cut the square on the diagonal to create 2 triangles. I added the 90 degrees corner of one triangle 2cm in from the left side and the bottom and the other 2cm in from the right side and the top. I added another piece of DSP in between the triangles that measures 3.5 x 11.5 cm
I stamped the sentiment from Happiest of Birthdays in Night of Navy ink onto Whisper White card and cut it with a Stitched Rectangles die. I used a larger die to cut a piece of Night of Navy card to back the stamped one. I then glued this to the middle of the card front.
I also added a little strip of DSP to my insert panel as you can glimpse in this photo…
I had fun playing with shapes and some of the awesome designs from the Playing With Patterns DSP pack. I hope you like the end result.
